BY-LAW 1:

 

Sanctioned and Sanctioned Circuit Tournaments must be recorded, therefore a form is to be filled out and returned along with the proper fee.   Results must also be processed in the same fashion.

 

BY-LAW 2:

 

The Canadian Armwrestling Federation fiscal year will be January 1st to December 31.

 

Each Province will hold 5 Circuit and 1 Provincial tournament between November 1 and August 31 each year.

 

The Nationals will be held on the long week-end of September each year.

 

BY-LAW 3:

 

There will be one Male and one Female Puller of the Year Award.  They will be recognized at the Canadian National Championship and will be determined by the Sanctioned Circuit Point System.

 

The men can accumulate points in one right hand class and one left hand class per tournament.

Total accumulation possible at one event is 10 points.

 

The woman can accumulate points in one right hand class and one left hand class per tournament.  Total accumulation possible at one event is 10 points.

 

The final 10 points will be accumulated at Provincials.               

 

Maximum of 60 point per year can be accumulated.

 

1st place winner                        5 points

2nd place winner                      4 points

3rd place winner                       3 points

4th place winner                       2 points

5th place winner                       1 point

 

BY-LAW 4:

 

The Official Sanctioned Weight Classes form will be followed for all events held.

 

BY-LAW 5:

 

No money will be offered at a Provincial and National level event.

 

BY-LAW 6:

 

All Clubs will be registered with the Provincial Associations as well as the C.A.W.F.

 

BY-LAW 7:

 

The team uniforms will be as follows: 

Black pants, red and white jacket and a white golf shirt or t-shirt.

 

BY-LAW 8:

 

All eliminations will be brought down to the last 4 in each class, and then held for the semi-finals.

 

BY-LAWS 9:

 

Wording for the PRO/AM classifications will be as follows:

                        Amateur remains AMATEUR

                        Pro changes to OPEN

 

BY-LAW 10:

 

If you do not attend the National Championship you will not be allowed to attend the World Championship.  We will go down the list of competitors who attended to find a representative for that weight class.
